scuba diving
One of the most popular and rapidly expanding sports in the world today is scuba diving. As recreational diving becomes more widespread and people look for less traditional means of making a living, there could be no better time to embark upon a lifelong hobby that could become your career.
What could your scuba diving entail?
Whether you are a novice or a well experienced scuba diver, there are always possibilities for training and personal development available to you.
Your scuba diving could be solely recreational-based, giving you the opportunity to explore environments of particular interest to you, whether the cold waters of the North Sea or the warm, sun-drenched coral reef seas of the tropics.
For those with a passion for research and conservation, learning to scuba dive could be your chance to make a valuable contribution to ongoing work in a range of locations around the world.
Where to go to scuba dive
Wherever there is water you can scuba dive! With the range of equipment available, even just recreationally, you can explore as much as you like!
Often thought of as being the best places to scuba dive, not just because of the weather and the lifestyle but also because of the high levels of biodiversity and great diving conditions, the clear blue seas of the tropics are top of the list for many divers. Visit Tanzania or Madagascar for your African adventure into the beauty of coral reefs.
Scuba diving on coral reefs can be like stepping into a documentary. You will see colours and fish the likes of which you had never even imagined, and you will be humbled by the magnificence of one of the most awe inspiring and breathtakingly beautiful ecosystems on the planet, the pristine coral reefs of the South Pacific.
